Starting 2001 European Federation of Medical Informatics organizes each year a Special Topic Conference empowering the EFMI Working Groups.

In 2024, EFMI WGs Healthcare Informatics for Interregional Cooperation (HIIC), One Digital Health (ODH), Education (EDU) and Evolution and Trends in Medical Informatics (ETMI) are inviting you in the beautiful and multicultural city Timisoara for networking, sharing knowledge and find/present the new trends in Digital Health.

The EFMI Special Topic Conference 2024 is being organized by the Romanian Society of Medical Informatics, as national member society of EFMI, and hosted by Politehnica University of Timișoara. 

The program chairs Lăcrămioara Stoicu-Tivadar and Arriel Benis, the EFMI President Thomas Deserno and the RSMI president elect Sorana Bolboacă, and on behalf of the local host the Rector of Politehnica University of Timișoara Florin Drăgan, are welcoming you to EFMI STC 2024 in Timișoara, Romania for a great scientific and human interaction!
